Ketogenic Diet
The Ketogenic Diet is in many ways similar to the Low Carb Diet, but with more focus placed on weight loss. The higher percentage of fats can be replaced with proteins.
Atkins Diet
This well-known protein diet is focused on the high intake of proteins.
Gluten-Free Diet
Avoiding (or removing) gluten is the key principle of this diet. This diet plan can prove to be difficult and it is important to carefully read the ingredients on product packing to avoid wheat, barley, rye and oats due to medical or dietary restrictions.
Low Carb Diet
This weight loss diet plan is based on avoiding foods that are high in sugars and carbohydrates. By eliminating unnecessary sugars it is easier to regulate blood sugar levels. Products such as pasta, pastries, and sweets need to be forgotten. The Low Carb Diet is suitable for most people, however, if you are breastfeeding, pregnant or suffer from diabetes, consultation with your doctor is advised.
Phase 1 – Rapid Weight Loss
During Phase 1, you will eat the Chia Shake Diet meals five times a day and eliminate high-carb and high-sugar foods from your diet. With your body now experiencing low content in carbohydrates and sugars, your metabolism will reach the state of ketosis. Your body will start to burn it’s own fat reserves, using it as a new source of energy.
Duration: 8 weeks

During the first few days of the keto diet, your body will crave other meals as it is adapting to the new meals. It is important to resist your cravings and stick to the ketogenic diet plan so that you will reach the stage of ketosis and lose weight. Once your body adapts to the new weight-loss plan, these cravings will subside.
Forbidden foods: fruit, pastries, potatoes, rice, pasta, cakes, sweets, ice cream, sweet and flavoured beverages
Side dishes: Green vegetables (spinach, broccoli, lettuce, avocado, cabbage, olives, cucumber)
Snacks: max. once per day: 30g nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecan nuts, hazelnuts) / 1-2 squares of 90% dark chocolate, plain and unsweetened yogurt.
Phase 2 – Lose a few kilos
The second phase is suitable only for those who want to lose a few kilos or slim down their figure. In this phase, you will eat Chia Shake diet meals three times a day alongside one low carbohydrate meal a day of your choice. In this phase, you are still in ketosis and continue to burn your own fat reserves for energy.
Duration: 4 weeks

- Lunch: lean meat (chicken, turkey, fish) + vegetables / egg salad / soup (vegetable, fish) / Omelette

Phase 3 – Stabilising
During this phase, you tone your figure and slowly reintroduce carbohydrates so that the kilos do not return with the yo-yo effect. We recommend replacing 1-2 meals a day with the Chia Shake diet products but it is up to you which meal you would like to replace. To stave off the weight and keep toned, it is important to adjust your eating habits after the program. Most important is the reduction and intake of simple sugars and carbohydrates. Sugars quickly transform into energy, which if not used results in it being stored as fat.

We strongly recommend reducing “white carbohydrates” (potatoes, pasta, pastries) after you finish with Chia Shake diet. These carbohydrates have a high glycemic index (= energy conversion rate), and unused energy from these food products is moved into fat reserves.
